The last release for this year comes courtesy of UK producer and DJ Kit Mason as a 6 tracker EP, with 3 original tracks and 3 remixes by our in-house artists Alek Soltirov, Ffunk aka Nikola Jovicevic and Pavle Vasiljevic.
Old school chords, deep wobbly bass and kicks, are his trademark when it comes to producing tracks for our label, and this ep is no exception. Accross all three tracks the old school touch can be heard but with a modern twist, subtle use of vocal loops and effects for the complete feeling. All of the originals are great for the peak time.
On the remixing side, first is Alek Soltirov the young talent from Skopje who comes up with a simple but yet very strong and original deep sounding remix of “Straight In To It” suitable for warm up sets, or the late sessions, reminiscent to his latest production which is very well accepted around the underground djs across the globe.
Next is Ffunk aka Nikola Jovicevic, the Montenegrin dj and producer with a very bright future ahead of him, with few production waiting for release in 2015, he has treated us with some modern big room sounds but with the right amount of big so it stays on the underground side of the things, great for the peak hour.
Last but not least is Pavle Vasiljevic with his interpretation of “System Off”, dark techy very underground words that could be used to describe almost all of the production that Pavle is doing these days, solid very well produced with his trademark touches gives this track a bit of a different vibe, we see this one played in those dark small rooms with dimmed lights and filled with party people.
Great package with tracks for diverse sets and locations.
2014 is at the end, but stay tuned in 2015 we are coming back with few surprises and stronger then ever.
