After while and the long winter break we took, we come back with our first release for the new year and what a release it is. This one is courtesy of our regular in-house Montenegro based producer and DJ Ffunk aka Nikola Jovicevic. He has treated us with couple of gems that showcase his ability and sense for producing modern day house music with a classic touch that is hard to find these days.
His Nocturnal EP is conceived of two tracks Nocturne and All Alone. The first one is a clear picture of where he stands as a producer and how far has his production and sound come, since his beginnings somewhere in 2011 with his first release on our label. Powerful and yet subtle bassline, atmospheric cords and stubs, all mixed to perfection for a killer dance-floor track, Nocturne is ready for hard exploitation. The second one is All Alone, beautiful piano chord based track with a familiar female vocal sample incorporated into the beautiful and lush melodies that give this track summery feeling, right in time for the WMC season.
We are very excited to be able to bring this release to the public and we would be dishonest if we say that we don’t feel the energy and quality of Ffunk’s work on this release to be top notch and ready for the big league. We appreciate your constant support and feedback and we hope that we’ll see and hear this release where it belongs, on the dancefloor.
